The Haakaa Orthodontic Nipple Shield is a unique, patented one – piece nipple shield designed to assist mothers with breastfeeding challenges such as latching difficulties, flat or inverted nipples, and overactive let – down. Made from 100% soft silicone, the shield features an orthodontic teat that is nipple – shaped to encourage a similar sucking action to breastfeeding, preventing nipple confusion. The round base design allows for easy application and a secure fit, while the soft outer edge gently seals to the breast. This design allows the baby to feel and smell the mother’s skin, promoting a more natural feeding experience.

How to Use

1. Express a few drops of breast milk into the tip of the nipple shield.
2. Stretch the nipple shield and center it over your nipple.
3. Press the shield onto your breast to ensure a secure fit.
4. Introduce your baby to the shield to begin feeding.
5. Clean and sterilize before and after each use. It is recommended to use a steam sterilizing system or to boil in water for 2 – 3 minutes.

The nipple shield is made from 100% high – quality, food – grade silicone. It is free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates.
